Welcome to The Spoon

My love for food is only surpassed by my love for family and the combining of the two provides for a richness in life that we are fortunate to be able to enjoy in these days of unbounded plenty.

I created The Spoon to share with friends and family all that is relevant to eating and drinking. We will discuss recipes, restaurants, equipment, eating anecdotes, where to get ingredients (in the sparse retail environment of Montana) and tricks and tips on how to prepare food.

This site is not intended to be a repository of gourmet eating – although we appreciate that too – but, rather, eating anything that is delicious. We welcome ideas for the most basic foods, such as perfect and unique hamburgers, to the exotic. Please feel free to make comments or ask questions as your appetite dictates.

I have opened this blog up to anyone who wishes to join. Just drop me a line and I’ll get you set up.
